The country’s largest locally owned and operated life insurer Fidelity Life has appointed Leigh Bennett to the new role of Product Training Manager in its growing Professional Development team.
Fidelity Life Chief Distribution Officer Adrian Riminton says continuing professional development is more important than ever for advisers.
“Good customer outcomes are the result of many things, and detailed product knowledge is one of them. With the new financial advice regime fast approaching, including a new code of conduct for advisers, competency, knowledge and skill are critical development areas for advisers.
“That’s why we’re investing in professional development and I’m delighted to welcome Leigh to the team.”
In her new role Leigh will be responsible for developing and delivering Fidelity Life’s product training and accreditation programme for advisers.
Leigh will move from Fidelity Life’s Underwriting team to take on her new role. She’ll join Professional Development Consultant Leigh Austin, with both reporting to Head of Professional Development Trecia Brown.
“This investment in professional development, alongside our Building Better Businesses programme, is all about providing advisers with certainty by making it easier for them to operate in the new financial advice regime. Fidelity Life’s goal is to set ourselves and advisers up for a sustainable and successful future, with the customer at the centre of everything we do,” says Adrian.
