Media release
3 June 2025
New Zealand’s largest locally owned life insurer, Fidelity Life, is evolving two of its most popular adviser initiatives, designed to help advisers develop through insights and professional development.
The company’s much loved adviser programme, the Customer engagement initiative (CEI) returns and registrations are open now until 30 June. The programme offers advisers the chance to receive feedback from customers and drives education around customer satisfaction; helping advisers build stronger relationships and keep more New Zealanders protected.
Meanwhile Fidelity Life’s sought-after flagship event, Engage, is also announced for both 2025 and 2026. Both Engage events will be even bigger than last year, with more than double the number of advisers able to attend.
This year, Engage is going on tour, visiting five main centres across the country on 22 October 2025. It’s set to deliver an Engage experience like never before.
The company has also already locked in Engage 2026, securing New Zealand’s newest and biggest venue - NZ International Convention Centre, SkyCity Auckland.
Fidelity Life Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan says these initiatives are back with more reach, more energy, and more opportunities than ever before.
“Our new approach opens more doors than ever for advisers to connect with us, and for us to connect with them. We’re continuing to show up for advisers; investing in meaningful engagement, listening closely, and delivering initiatives they truly value.”
“This event has become known for its engaging format and the exciting updates it brings to advisers—this year and next will be no different. Both Engage and CEI raised the bar last year, and we’re committed to raising it even higher.”
Advisers interested in taking part in these initiatives are encouraged to contact their Fidelity Life Business Manager to learn more and submit their expression of interest.
More advisers to gain insights from the Customer engagement initiative (CEI) 2025
With continuing professional development (CPD) points on offer, the CEI forum in 2026 will give more advisers the chance to network, gain personalised customer insights and develop their practice.
“To encourage a focus on great customer outcomes, we’ll offer a place at the 2026 forum to the 45 advisers who achieve the highest NPS score,” explains Bronwyn. “This is 50% more places than last year.”
Advisers at the 2024 CEI initiative expressed 100% satisfaction, with every participant saying they would attend again. The event itself achieved a NPS of +95 and 90% of attendees said they gained valuable knowledge they could apply to their business.
Engage on tour 2025: this year Engage is coming to you.
On 22 October, Fidelity Life will bring its flagship adviser event to five cities across New Zealand. The one-day Engage on tour is more accessible; offering places to twice the number of advisers who attended Engage 2024. Held simultaneously, the company will host the event in:
- Auckland / Tāmaki Makaurau
- Hamilton / Kirikiriroa
- Wellington / Te Whanganui a Tara
- Christchurch / Ōtautahi
- Dunedin / Ōtepoti
Engage 2026: at New Zealand’s biggest and newest venue
Fidelity Life’s signature adviser event returns next year from 29-31 July 2026 at NZ International Convention Centre, SkyCity Auckland—set to be the biggest and boldest Engage yet.
“We’re not giving too much away at the moment, but advisers should mark their calendars. Engage 2026 will be an event they won’t want to miss!” says Bronwyn.
