From today, Fidelity Life customers who are facing financial hardship as a direct result of the severe weather in Canterbury, Southland, and Clutha District who are eligible can apply to have their premiums temporarily waived for up to 3-months. This waiver can potentially be extended for up to a further 3-months, without affecting their insurance protection.
In addition to financial relief, Fidelity Life has expanded its hardship support offering access to Raise—a confidential counselling service. Eligible customers can now access up to three free counselling sessions to help them navigate personal or professional challenges.
Fidelity Life’s Chief Commercial Officer Bronwyn Kirwan says the company is committed to supporting customers impacted by the severe weather in these communities.
“We know the recent weather has had a devastating impact on communities across Canterbury, Southland, and the Clutha District. Our hearts go out to everyone affected. This premium relief offer is one way we’re trying to ease the financial pressure and stand alongside our customers during this difficult time.
“We hope this support gives people some peace of mind, knowing their insurance protection remains in place while they focus on recovery.”
To access the relief offer Fidelity Life customers should contact their financial adviser or Fidelity Life on assistance@fidelitylife.co.nz.
