I’m currently receiving an income protection claim benefit – how will I be affected?
We appreciate you may not be comfortable visiting your GP at this time - GP services are already under pressure and that’s only likely to increase. So for existing customers on claim, we’re suspending the formal medical certification for three months from 18 March 2020.
Instead, we’ll use our in-house Chief Medical Officer and rehabilitation managers to oversee this process, and will email you an adapted Continuing Claim Form to complete and return. For those without email we’ll phone you with the specific questions.
If you’re not comfortable attending an assessment or appointment with a provider we refer you to, please give your case manager a call. We’ll be happy to discuss other options to ensure we meet your needs.
