Putting the fun into fundraising
Did you know Fidelity Life has been a keen supporter of Leukaemia and Blood Cancer New Zealand for 14 years? We’ve done everything from competing in the Step Up Sky Tower Stair Challenge, a sponsored climb up 1,100 steps at Auckland’s Sky Tower, to being the major sponsor for this year’s Blood Cancer Patient Forum held in September at Te Papa.
When Fidelity Life first started working with Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand 14 years ago, they were just a small team of four. Together we’ve come a long way and since 2011 our staff and advisers have raised over $210,000!
Today, we’re proud to have grown together by raising funds, taking part in events, and raising awareness – helping to improve the quality of life for Kiwis and their families living with leukaemia, lymphoma, myeloma, and related blood conditions. After all, we share a common bond to put families first and keep them strong.
We’re also proud to support Leukaemia & Blood Cancer New Zealand because we’re never short of volunteers when it comes to some of the amazing fundraising opportunities that come our way! From shaving our hair off for Shave for a Cure, being a firefighter for a day with 25kg of gear in the Firefighter Sky Tower Stair Challenge and racing around the course four times in the Marrowthon 100 hole gold tournament, our teams are always up for it.
